Happy 133rd Birthday to Grand duchess Olga Alexandrovna! Grand duchess Olga Alexandrovna was the youngest child of Alexander and his wife Maria Feodorovna. She was also their only child to be born in the purple meaning while her father was ruling since she was born the year after assassination. Growing up, Olga her grandfather's was always closer to her father than to her mother. Olga was only 12 when her father died and her oldest brother Nicholas became Emperor Olga was always close to her brother, acting like an older sister to his four daughters being Godmother to both Olga(her namesake) and Anastasia. In 1901 she married Duke Peter Alexandrovich of Oldenburg, an unhappy marriage that was later annulled. Olga Alexandrovna was a nurse during WWI just like her sister-in-law and nieces. Olga married a commoner, Nikolai Kulikovsky in 1916. They had two sons Tikhon(1917-1993) and Guri(1919-1984). Olga survived the revolution that killed many members of her family, and finally ended up in Canada. She said that her years in Canada with her husband and sons were the best of her life. Olga died in Canada on 24 November 1960 at the age of 78, the same year as her sister Grand duchess Xenia Alexandrovna.
